William Schalin has over 20 years of project management experience in a wide range of industries including Defense and Aerospace, Government, Transportation, Pharmaceutical, and IT. His experiences include Organizational PM maturity assessments, EVMS Compliance, Project Management Office setup, process documentation and benchmarking, and implementations of enterprise project management systems.
 
Primavera Experience
 
William’s experience is in the enterprise Project Management environment working in a number of roles including maturity assessments, implementation planning, engagement management and implementation support. He has successfully scoped, designed and delivered numerous enterprise implementations designed around the Primavera TeamPlay and P3e product suites. These implementations, which include Project Management process development, Primavera application training, report design, and template development, are tailored to the specific needs of clients and consistently result in a higher level of customer satisfaction when included as part of a Primavera implementation. Examples of some recent clients include Bell Helicopter, DRS Power & Controls, U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA), International Truck and Engine, Eli Lilly and Thompson Consumer Electronics (RCA).
Additional Employment History Prior to Accelerated PM, William was a senior consultant for Pinnacle Management Systems, Inc. a leading management and technology consulting firm based in Northern Virginia. During his tenure at Pinnacle, he supported multiple Primavera Enterprise client implementations involving up to 15 consultants, trainers and technical leads.
 
Prior to Pinnacle, William was the Divisional Program Planning Manager for DRS Power and Control Technologies, Inc, a leading supplier to the US Navy. In this role he was responsible for enterprise resource analysis, monthly EAC reporting and strategic financial forecasts. During his tenure, William served as a core team member responsible for the integration between Oracle Projects and P3e, and used his knowledge of P3e to help in the enterprise implementation.
 
Prior to DRS, William was a Senior Consultant / Engagement Manager for Catalyst, Inc., where he managed multiple Primavera TeamPlay / Enterprise client implementations involving up to 5 consultants, trainers and technical leads. As engagement manager he was the principle customer contact responsible for developing and executing project implementation plans including work scope definition, budgeting, status reporting and accounting.
Prior to Catalyst, William was the Divisional Project Office Director for Litton Data Systems leading the development and standardization of project management tools, policies and procedures for the division. He led the standardization of Primavera Project Planner and setup a PMO, where he managed a team of 15 project coordinators on 10 major shipbuilding projects.
